The charity will work hard with the Trust to develop and fund innovative and exciting projects that make a real difference to the lives of our patients, their families and the staff that take care of them.

As a nurse within the trust, I'm aware that even small additional items and acts of kindness can impact the experience that patients have. The charity help staff go above and beyond for patients and this is often only possible through the charity's funds that the NHS cannot provide.

I used to run, a long time ago, and returned to it again recently pledging to run a mile a day in 2026 (I've regretted that many times so far this year). I felt a 10k would be a good target and running for the charity has means I need to keep it up.

Please if you can donate even the cost of a coffee it will keep me pounding the pavements in all weathers and help to raise funds for a charity that really does make a difference for people experiencing really challenging times.
