Local Hearts for Tiny Starts Donate Our son Leo was born 8 weeks early — tiny, vulnerable, and needing urgent care. Nothing can prepare you for that moment when your world turns upside down. We were scared, uncertain, and overwhelmed. But from the very first day, the staff at Lincoln County Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) became our lifeline. For 24 days, they not only cared for Leo with extraordinary skill and dedication — they cared for us too. The warmth, support, and reassurance they gave us during the hardest weeks of our lives meant more than words can say.I am running the Robin Hood Half Marathon in September 2025 and I am wanting to raise funds to give back to the incredible NICU team who helped our little boy fight and thrive. Your donation will go toward vital equipment, family comforts, and resources that help other premature babies and parents just like us.Please give what you can — and help us say thank you to the heroes who care for life at its most fragile.
