The Quiet Fight - Prostate Cancer Awareness Appeal Donate Behind every statistic is a face, a family, and an unbroken spirit. Prostate cancer affects millions of men worldwide, yet the deeply personal journey of diagnosis, treatment, and survival often remains hidden behind clinical terms and quiet conversations. This photographic exhibition brings those hidden stories into the light. Through these intimate portraits, we invite you to look past the illness and see the individuals. Each photograph captures a unique narrative of vulnerability, strength, and quiet defiance. You will see fathers, husbands, brothers, and friends navigating their new realities with profound dignity. These images do not merely document a medical condition; they celebrate the enduring human spirit. They challenge societal expectations of masculine silence, proving that vulnerability is a profound form of strength. As you walk through this space, we invite you to look closely at the lines, the laughter, and the steady gazes captured here. We hope this exhibition sparks vital conversations, dismantles stigmas, and reminds every man facing this disease that he is seen, valued, and never truly alone. You will read the thoughts of men who have had treatment and men who are still being treated. This is an exhibition about men who are happy to talk about their illness. This exhibition aims to make more men aware of prostate cancer, and encourage them to get tested early, so many men only discover it as a result of being tested for another condition. All donations will be split between the prostate support group and St Barnabas Wellbeing Centres. Thank you. Suzanne Jones Manage Cookie Preferences
